${name}

Dr Rachel Ramesar is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture (IVAS), Certified in Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine (IVAS), Certified in Animal Chiropractic (AVCA), Fear Free Certified, Certified in Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (AAHA), and PennHIP Certified.

I am a 2000 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.

After graduation I spent 3 years in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps. My husband Daren is a retired Blackhawk helicopter pilot who now teaches elementary school physical education and we have two boys, two dogs (Natasha Romanov and Raven Mystique), and two cats (Bruce Wayne and Marvel). I first worked at Pet Medical Center from 2005 to 2009. A few short moves later and we are thrilled to have returned to the Ft. Hood area, and especially to our family at Pet Medical Center. I love working with the staff and our wonderful clients to provide the best care we can for our patients.

I am a graduate of the Parker University Animal Chiropractic Program and am certified in Animal Chiropractic by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine and am Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture as well as Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. I also have an interest in Chinese Food Therapy. I enjoy the ability to use Traditional Chinese Medicine, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and herbal medicine as alternative modalities in caring for my patients!
