Advanced Care

Our experienced veterinary team provides comprehensive medical care for dogs and cats, from routine services to advanced diagnostics, procedures, and treatments.

We are equipped to manage the majority of your pet’s medical and surgical needs right here in our hospital.

What truly sets our advanced care apart is our ability to collaborate directly with multiple board-certified veterinary specialists within our trusted network. When a case would benefit from additional expertise, our veterinarians can consult with in-network specialists. This collaborative approach allows us to deliver a higher level of care while keeping your pet’s treatment as seamless and stress-free as possible.

While referrals to specialty hospitals are sometimes necessary for highly specialized procedures or equipment, many complex cases can be supported through real-time in-house specialist consultation, benefiting everyone involved. With this approach, we ensure:

  • Pets receive timely, coordinated care tailored to their needs
  • Pet parents gain peace of mind knowing multiple experts are involved without added complexity or logistics of travel
  • Veterinarians have immediate access to advanced insight to guide decision-making

Veterinary Internal Medicine

Internal medicine veterinarians are qualified to perform advanced diagnostic services and create treatment plans for illnesses related to the internal body systems of animals. Our team will help diagnose and treat conditions of the GI system, kidneys, liver, heart, nervous system, endocrine glands, bladder, and respiratory systems. We also treat cancers, blood disorders, and infectious diseases.

Orthopedics

Veterinary orthopedics focuses on conditions affecting your pet’s bones, joints, muscles, and ligaments. After a thorough examination and appropriate diagnostic testing, our team will identify the source of pain or mobility concerns and recommend the most appropriate treatment options. Depending on your pet’s needs, this may include medical management, rehabilitation, surgical intervention, or referral to a specialist.

Ophthalmology

Pets can experience many of the same eye conditions as people, from dry eye and infections to more serious concerns like cataracts or glaucoma. Our team diagnoses and manages a wide range of eye problems, including corneal ulcers, trauma, and changes in vision. Because eye conditions can progress quickly, it’s important to report signs such as redness, discharge, squinting, cloudiness, or vision changes promptly so appropriate evaluation and treatment can begin.

Cardiology

Veterinary cardiology is focused on the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease in pets. If your furry friend is exhibiting signs such as rapid breathing, coughing, fatigue, weakness, or exercise intolerance, call our team to schedule a visit to our hospital to see if there is a cardiac-related issue going on.

Oncology

A cancer diagnosis for your pet is never easy, and it often brings uncertainty and difficult decisions. Advances in veterinary oncology offer more treatment options than ever before, and our team is here to guide you through each step of the process. Depending on the type and stage of cancer, treatment may focus on remission, long-term management, or palliative care to prioritize comfort and quality of life. Our goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care while supporting both you and your pet throughout the journey.

Blood Transfusions

Blood transfusions, including plasma and other blood products, can be life-saving for pets in critical need. Each transfusion is thoughtfully selected and administered by our experienced veterinary professionals.

Pain Management

Recognizing and managing pain is an important part of your pet’s overall care. Because pets often hide signs of discomfort, our veterinarians carefully assess for subtle indicators of pain during examinations and treatment. Pain management is a priority in all medical and surgical care, and we tailor treatment plans to help keep your pet as comfortable as possible.

Pet Hospice & Euthanasia

Choosing hospice care or euthanasia for your pet is a deeply personal and emotional decision. If your pet is aging, facing a serious illness, or experiencing a decline in quality of life, our team is here to provide guidance and support. We offer compassionate hospice care and humane euthanasia services, and will help you understand your options so you can make the decision that feels right for your pet and your family.

OFA Certification

Hip and elbow dysplasia are common conditions in dogs that can lead to pain and long-term mobility issues. OFA Hip & Elbow evaluation and certification allow breeders and pet owners to assess joint health prior to breeding. We recommend OFA certification before breeding a dog, before purchasing a puppy, and when evaluating your dog’s hip and elbow health.

Endocrinology

Veterinary endocrinology focuses on hormone-producing glands such as the thyroid, pancreas, adrenal glands, and pituitary gland. These hormones regulate essential functions including metabolism, blood sugar control, growth, and stress response. When hormone levels become imbalanced, they can impact multiple body systems, making accurate diagnosis and ongoing management important for your pet’s health.
