We at Pet Medical Center decided we wanted to have a page dedicated to informing our clients about noteworthy occurences that may impact them or their pets. This could be anything from pet food recalls to drug company information to local alerts in the community. We will do our best to keep this page up to date so please check in regularly for the most recent news.
Several of our clients have come to us asking for news about the Novartis plant closure and what this will mean for their ability to get Sentinel for their pets. Novartis informed us of their voluntary shut down of the plant that produces Sentinel and has assured us that our current supply of Sentinel is safe to administer. We have contacted our Novartis representative and have come up with a plan to try to ensure that our clients are able to keep their pets on Sentinel. While supplies last, if you come in to the clinic and need to purchase a 6 month supply of Sentinel we will send you home with a free Sentinel single and put your name on a list of people who will be contacted when our new supply comes in. If after another month we still have not received our new shipment then you will get a second free Sentinel single. If the plant has not opened after 2 months we will contact you and discuss what other heartworm prevention would be an option for your pet.
