Dr. Elizabeth Coburn is a Fear Free Certified veterinarian at Pet Medical Center.
I grew up in a medical family and always knew I wanted to combine the challenge of medicine with my passion for animals. Now, as an associate veterinarian at Pet Medical Center, I have the amazing opportunity to help our patients live their best lives and develop meaningful relationships with families and their pets.
I am originally from Rhode Island. I attended the University of Rhode Island and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and Technology. I then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2021. For my last year of veterinary school, I attended Lincoln Memorial University. During this time, I traveled in my camper to various animal clinics in the south, accompanied by my dogs. These experiences during my clinical year built a great foundation for my future as a practicing veterinarian.
I recently moved to Texas in March 2023 with my fiancé Zachary and our four dogs. He served in the Marine Corps, and we decided to settle in Texas and build our lives together. In my free time I enjoy hiking, being on the lake, traveling, and hanging at home relaxing with our dogs Brody, Bentley, Bonnie, and our most recently acquired dog Bella.
